The Philips Shaver Series 7000 S7886/55 is a solid choice if your main priority is a comfortable, low-fuss daily shave.
It handles 1–2 day stubble well, glides smoothly, and is kinder to sensitive skin than many cheaper shavers I’ve tried. The battery life is strong, the travel case is useful, and the Quick Clean Pod genuinely makes maintenance easier, even if you still can just rinse it under the tap.It’s not a miracle worker though. On thicker, 3‑day beards, it needs time and patience, and the closeness is good but not blade-level, especially on the neck and chin. The app and SkinIQ features are nice extras but not life-changing, and the ongoing cost of cleaning cartridges and replacement heads adds up over the years. Build quality is decent plastic, more practical than premium.If you shave often, have somewhat sensitive skin, and want a shaver that stays clean with minimal effort, this model makes sense and should keep you happy.
